Nations United in Friendship Through Children
The Kootenay Romanian Relief Organization is a registered Canadian Charity, assisting orphans, the elderly and the poor in Romania.
14 children were adopted by families in the West Kootenays, which prompted the formation of our Organization. To date we have re-built the infrastructure of an orphanage; built 3 houses and assisted with work on a children’s camp; completed a children’s playground; shipped and distributed 11 containers of clothing, bedding and toys which has assisted over 80,000 people, and much more.
